Life as a Sports VideographerIn 2012, I started my journey with the Mets, UConn Women’s Basketball and the Jets at SNYtv. My ultimate dream job and for 8 years, I was blessed with this career and I wouldn’t have it any other way.While guest speaking at Fordham University's “Media Executive Playbook” class, a question arose about my life of a sports videographer. I gave my most honest answer.
On Meeting Spike LeeMy recent social media post of my chance encounter with film icon, Spike Lee, was brought up by one of the students at Fordham University in Lincoln Center while speaking to the “Media Executive Playbook” class.Being able to describe that experience of meeting someone who I admire, whose films I have studied over and over to these students, made it even more rewarding for me. It was very surreal and I appreciate the chance to speak about it.
Pay it Forward!While guest speaking at a “Media Executive Playbook” class at Fordham University, I spoke about how paying it forward is your job in any profession.There are people that I am extremely grateful for that have stuck their necks out and recommended me for positions throughout my career. It’s only natural that I would want to do the same for others. A motto that has stuck with me since I was child: treat others like how you would want them to treat you.
